Approximately ten years ago I legally changed my name to Lisa Manae Willingham Grundy. I courageously took on my birthright name. Therefore, Mynetta only exists to those of my past. Also maybe those that did not know me. Truly, I just decided to be “who” I was born to be! I no longer desired to be thought of as property or a possession. I grew up detesting that ideology! ‘My” Netta” was born out of a need to control. I willingly relinquish control to my God. I don’t mind submission in the godly sense. I finally graduated to the junction where I want to be me. I am evolving. The ‘PURPLE ROSE Of Oregon has opened into a full bloom!’. Still, I am growing stronger, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
